Letter Rescue

Encouraging infants/ toddlers to sit and stay engaged is hard!

This letter rescue activity looks super simple and it is! This activity is developing your little ones fine motor skills, hand eye coordination and problem solving skills.

All you need is

  • Painters tape

  • Letters

  • Clean surface to tape them onto (wall, baking sheet etc.)

Implementing the activity

The goal is to remove all the letters and the tape. It’s a hard job for little fingers to do that kind of work!

How to extend the activity?

You can introduce letter recognition and phonic skills by pointing to each letter and identifying them. For older children you can encourage them to place the letters in alphabetical or spell their name.

This is a great activity because you can use anything from animals, shapes, lego it's yours to customize.
