What's in the bag?
A mystery bag is a great activity that is engaging, super easy to set up and implement. You can use toys and objects that you have readily available.
I use this activity as a way to build on language skills as well as turn taking and sharing.
All you’ll need is a bag (you can even use a pillowcase) and a few objects with varying size and textures.
How to implement the activity?
Get your child to put their hand in the bag and feel for an object and then prompt them to describe it. You can ask them questions such e.g "Does it feel smooth or rough? Would you say it’s big or small?"
