Sometimes simplicity is best.
This is a great activity to challenge infants/toddlers to work on their fine motor skills and it takes no time to set up.
I know what your thinking pom poms are a choking hazard, however when doing activities with infants/toddlers you should ALWAYS supervise and NEVER leave them alone.
All you need to do to set up this fun and simple activity is to take a whisk and poke some pompoms inside it. Then get your little one to use their fingers to pull the pom poms out. To extend the activity you can ask them to sort the pom poms as well as identify the colours they notice
I used pom poms because that’s what I had handy but you can use anything from socks or sponges.
